So I met Sumina in Kathmandu in April this year and she did the sickest portrait of a friend which we organised for charity. The detail is amazing she really.took her time on it and I couldn’t be happier.

Next time I’m in Nepal Sumina will be the only tattoo artist I will use!!

As a client, as someone who loves art work, who loves seeing talented people do what they do best, I would like to share one thought. I love finding a talented artist, sharing my ideas, and then trusting them to use their artistic imput to creat something the client will fall in love with. It is a scary thought, especially if the client might not like what youve created, but the other side is mine. What if you create something so unimaginably beautiful, that i fall in love with the creation. A creation i would have never dreamed of.
I want to leave you with one thing. Trust yourself. Because you are a brilliant artist. And people will love what you create. Try not to fall into a pattern of doing only what the client asks. Go out of your comfort zone. Take risks sometimes. Because people like me, people who truly appreciate artwork, will be so grateful that you took those risks.

I came to Sumina with a very personal tattoo idea after 6 long months of travelling while staying at wanderthirst hostel in Kathmandu. Her studio was so cute, tucked into the garden of the hostel, and was extremely clean and welcoming. Sumina drew up the design and we settled in for a 2.5 hour session of Taylor Swift singalongs and tattooing. I will never forget how I felt after seeing this piece completed and inked on my skin forever. Thank you Sumina for making this tattoo such a wonderful experience and thank you for your commitment to making it perfect

After looking around at various other shops and having quite a few tattoos on me I looked closely to each detail in their work but also how the shop was set up and how hygienic they were. Sumina’s art work and tattoo work is some of the finest I’ve seen. She has great solid black lines, great shading techniques and can adapt to most styles of tattooing. If she wasn’t so busy I’d get more before I leave. Also she is great to talk to and very friendly and helpful.

Had a really awesome experience with Sumina – I came to her with only a rough idea of the sort of tattoo and style I wanted, and she came up with an original piece which was much better than I was imagining – safe, clean and professional studio, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and a great artist! I will be back!

I am so thankful I met Sumina and that she did my first tattoo. She really gave me the time and support to define the tattoo in every detail, and patiently worked with me on the sketch until I was 100% satisfied with the idea. The design I had in mind was very simple, but needed precision to be accurate. She executed it perfectly.

If there’s anyone you want to go to get tattooed, go to Sumina. She does a great execution with attention to detail. The line work that she does is amazing.
