I’m so happy to share that I won Best of the Day (Day 3) at the 12th International Nepal Tattoo Convention, held on 11th, 12th and 13th April, 2025 at Heritage Garden, Sanepa. It was such an incredible moment—and one that means a lot to me personally.
This was my second time attending the Nepal Tattoo Convention. For those who don’t know, the Nepal Tattoo Convention, organized by Nepal Tattoo P Ltd. and Mohan’s Tattoo Inn, Thamel has been bringing together tattoo artists, art lovers, and creative souls from around the world since 2009, all under the mantra “Together for Art.” It’s more than just an event—it’s a celebration of expression, culture, and community.
Last year, I came very close—I was runner-up for Best of the Day. That experience stayed with me and pushed me to grow. This year, I worked all three days and submitted my pieces for both Day 2 and Day 3. Day 2 was a great learning moment. On Day 3, I gave it my all—not for the win, but to create something that felt honest and true to my style.
The tattoo I submitted is a reflection of what I love to create: strong and fine lines, geometry, flow, and emotion. I wasn’t thinking about awards—I just wanted to make something meaningful. So to be recognized for it… that’s truly special.
I’m so thankful to the incredible organizers, my supportive team, respected judges, the tattoo community, and everyone who’s been cheering me on—especially those who have followed my journey as a female tattoo artist in Nepal. Your support keeps me going.
This win reminded me why I do what I do. And no matter where this path takes me, I’ll always keep creating—with heart, purpose, and passion.
